DESCRIPTION:Description:\nThis foundational Play Therapy training is for th
 erapists who are beginning to immerse in the world of Sand Tray! Discover t
 he theory behind this incredible Play Therapy modality to use it in your pr
 actice with clients of all ages. You will explore the symbolic representati
 on of your clients’ needs\, including personal experiences of creating yo
 ur own sand tray in this training.  During this workshop\, you will learn 
 the key concepts and deepen your understanding of your clients and watch th
 e magic of the therapeutic powers of play transform and heal throughout the
  Play Therapy process. We will have discussions related to best practice\, 
 ethics\, integration of theory and self-exploration as a therapist providin
 g this transformative therapeutic experience. \nObjectives:\n\nDemonstrate
  an understanding of sand tray therapy as a Play Therapy theory and rationa
 le for sand tray therapy.\nDescribe the selection of Sand tray therapy mate
 rials in the Play Therapy session\, including the miniatures and sand.\nDes
 cribe how trauma and neurobiology impact Sand tray therapy\, and how to pro
 cess trauma utilizing sand tray therapy in Play Therapy.\nDemonstrate at le
 ast one sand tray intervention for children\, teens\, adults\, families and
  couples in Play Therapy sessions.\nExplain the difference between sand tra
 y therapy and sand play therapy and its importance in your Play Therapy too
 lbox.\nDescribe how to exhibit cultural humility in Play Therapy by utilizi
 ng sand tray.\n\nAll trainings require at least a Master’s Degree in a Co
 unseling\, Marriage and Family Therapy\, Social Work or related field\, and
  completion of EMDR Basic Training (for EMDRIA Approved Advanced Workshops)
 .  Graduate Students may enroll in the training\, and understand that cont
 inued education credit cannot be provided to individuals who do not hold pr

 \nPlay Therapy credit is available to licensed mental health professionals 
 and graduate students in a mental health program. \nThriveBright Professio
 nal Trainings only assumes the responsibility for the registration part of 
 the event.  All other costs are the responsibility of the registrant\, unl
 ess otherwise stated.\nThis workshop and presenter have no conflict of inte
 rest in this workshop\, nor is there any commercial or financial support\, 
 or any affiliate agreements.\nAttendees must attend the training in its ent
 irety\, with camera on (for live webinar attendance)\, complete the trainin
 g evaluation and a post-test (for live webinar attendance) to be eligible f
 or the CE Certificate. Certificates of attendance will be emailed within 7 
 business days of the completion of the training and receipt of the evaluati
 on and a passing score on the post-test (80% or higher)\, if applicable.\nW
 orkshop Cancellation and Refund Policy\nNon-Refundable Fees:  $40.00 Admin
 istrative Fee is included in your registration fee for each event.\nCancell
 ation requests must be made in writing\, and postmarked (or emailed) no lat
 er than seven (7) days prior to the date of the event. \nCancellations rec
 eived at least seven days prior to the event will receive a refund\, less t
 he $40.00 administrative fee.  Cancellations received within seven days\, 
 no shows\, or requests after the event will not receive a refund or credit 
 toward future events.  \nThriveBright Professional Trainings receives the
  right to cancel any training\, workshops or courses that receive fewer tha
 n five (5) registrants within two weeks of the scheduled event and may be r
 escheduled to a later date.  Those who are registered will be notified of 
 the cancellation and rescheduling in a timely manner and will be offered ei
 ther a refund or a credit toward a future training\, workshop or course.  
 If ThriveBright Professional Trainings cancels the training\, workshop or c
 ourse for any other reason\, you will receive a full refund\, or credit tow
 ard a future event (including administrative fee).\nNo partial credit will 
 be given for any training\, workshop or course.  You must attend the event
  in its entirety to receive continued education credits.  For live webinar
 s\, you must have your camera on at all times to receive credit for attenda
 nce.  \nNo exceptions will be made to the cancellation or refund policy.\
