Group EMDR Consultation is an rich and dynamic part of the EMDR Certification process, as well as ongoing professional development as an EMDR Certified Therapist. If you chose to register for a group, you will have the minds of up to 9 other EMDR Therapists to support your case discussion and development. The certification process for EMDR has strict guidelines outlined by EMDRIA, and you may have up to 10 group consultations with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.
At ThriveBright, we offer Group EMDR Consultation aligned with the standard protocol, and some groups are specialized based on the integration of another theoretical approach. Options for specialized EMDR certification groups:
- EMDR Consultation – The Basics beyond Basic Training (meets the 2nd Friday of the month at 9:00 am CST)
- Integrating EMDR and Play Therapy (meets the 4th Friday of the month at 9:00 am CST)
- Attachment Focused EMDR (meets the 1st Friday of the month at 9:00 am CST)
Most EMDR Groups meet for 60 minutes, although the EMDR and Play Therapy group meets for 90 minutes.
